Afon Glaslyn Improvement Work

On the 24th January David, Richard and Kelvin joined staff from the National Trust on a volunteer’s day to remove debris from the Glaslyn. On the day staff from the Environment Agency, staff from Snowdonia Active and members of Snowdonia Canoe Club lent a hand. At the end of the day the river had been cleared from Llyn Gwynant to the confluence with the Cwm Llan, leaving the river more open for canoeists to navigate.
