Padarn Watersports Centre

The watersports centre is located in Padarn Country Park close to the National Welsh Slate Museum. The centre gives us great access to the shores of Llyn Padarn for our canoeing, kayaking and raft building adventures. The Country Park surrounding the centre provides a spectacular backdrop for climbing, abseiling and orienteering activities. If all of this is not enough for you there is also Ropes and Ladders, a high ropes course, within a couple of minutes walk.

In addition to storing our boats, the water sports centre provides us with changing and showering facilities. There is ample parking nearby in the pay and display car park for the Slate Museum. During the summer holiday period this centre is normally staffed but this is not guaranteed. As with all of our activities, we strongly advise people to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
