Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Last review 29 April 2021.

For the last 6 months we have been mothballed with a very limited staff. We apoligise for the inconvenience this has caused for people enquiring about our services.

As we move into May 2021 we are starting to return our key staff back to there roles in anticipation of relaxing of restrictions.

This means we will improve our response to enquiries but we are just digesting current guidance to ensure we do the right thing.

Please note that Welsh Legislation can differ from other UK nations and we may operating at more limited service than expected.

Sorry, it is not business as normal and many previous options are still going to be unavailable for a while.

School and Youth Group information is awaiting an update. Welsh Government have not yet released a “roadmap” date of when we can restart overnight stays yet even though suggested dates exist for other UK nations.

Self-Catered accommodation is currently available at the Bryn Du Mountain Centre but please note limited numbers and household/bubble rules.

Kayak Hire from the Padarn Water Sports Centre is planned to restart in mid May 2021, we have some improvement works planned for the centre prior to re opening.

Adventure Activities are available to private groups please see the individual pages for specific information.

Pre booking and payment is strongly preferred for all services to enable social distancing and reduce physical interactions. We will also be asking in advance for contact details of all of those visiting us to aid any Track and Trace should we become aware of any customer or staff becoming unwell.

Email is going to be the most reliable way to contact us due to reduced staffing numbers and limited office access.

As Coronavirus develops we will continue to take advice from official sites as they are updated. We will in turn update any changes for customers in delivering our services on this page.

As practical steps in reducing the spread of Coronavirus we would expect customers to read and heed official government advice and steps to take if you suspect illness.
